What is the aim of your website?
What is the aim of your website? All websites have an aim and it is important to know what it is. WebYeah! can suggest features for your particular website but to do so we must have a picture of what your website is being created for. By submitting a few hundred words on your business or venture and what you want the website to do is the first thing WebYeah! will look at to ensure we work to achieve your goals.
Lets go through a few examples to see what i mean;
Lonely Ranger Football Club
We are a netball club with approximately 50 players although we have a considerable amount of support down at the club with over 100 people who regularly get involved. We want a website for our club to bring it online and make it easier for us promote events and receive interest for new membership. We would like to have all 50 players with profiles added to our website and also enable them to make changes to their profile only by using a member login. I would also like to give other permissions to a few members of the support crew so they can write articles and put results of the game online. It would be great to receive payments for membership or events and we are open to having an online shopping car where users or a simple invoice payment tool. The club has a PayPal and is happy have all money paid into that account. We also want to be able to get people to register or renew for membership online by submitting a form.
The club has several sponsors that we want to recognise through having their logo on webpages aswell as links so that when a person clicks on their logo they will be redirected to our sponsors webpage.
McErnie and Sons Funeral Directors
We run a family owned funeral business and would like a website to promote our company and also so our clients can get vital information such as support through the difficult process of losing a loved one. The company has been around for 3 generations and we really want the website to have a family touch.
The website won't require any complex features although it would be good to have a customer feedback form so we can improve our service going forward and we would also like to create access to my brothers (3 of us) so we all can add content to the website once it is up and running. We want to have our own domain name and be listed on the search engines so people can find us. The template we use would need to be flexible and offer a variety of layout styles that can be changed easily as my brothers and I hope to expand the business interstate in the next 10 years.
Green Garden Solutions
Hi, i have a green gardening business which involves full garden design and construction. I want my website to have a modern design which promotes my business and portfolio. Being in the 'Green' space, it would be cool for my site to be carbon neutral if you can do that. I have done around 15 gardens since i started my green business and i want a portfolio section which shows these projects off. I would like these photos to be shown in a variety of ways such as slide show, thumbnails to popo-up and anything you might think of - as long as it looks professional, that is the key. I want to be able to advertise my business on my site in various positions, for instance, on www.WebYeah.com.au you have a box in the lower left hand position that rotates through your products. My website also must have a form that people can fill out to contact me.
